Access to the pitch at the Azteca Stadium has been prohibited due to a thunderstorm currently erupting at the ground ahead of tonight's England versus Mexico clash.

Mexico manager Javier Aguirre has put England on notice ahead of their Azteca Stadium clash on Sunday night at 1am UK time, insisting his side can challenge the Three Lions.

JD Wetherspoon has confirmed that only five of its 800 pubs across the UK will be open for England's last 16 clash against Mexico, which kicks off at 1am on Monday morning.
