The 69th Ballon d'Or ceremony is scheduled for Monday, September 22, 2025, at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, starting at 8pm BST.
This year's awards will crown the best men's and women's players from the 2024-25 season, with a new format that doesn't allow for performances in the early months of the new season to be considered.
The men's nominees feature a mix of established stars and surprise superstars, including Raphinha, Jude Bellingham, and Kylian Mbappé.
In the women's category, several Lionesses are in contention following England's Euro 2025 victory, alongside Women's Champions League winners from Arsenal and Spanish stars like Alexia Putellas.
The event will also present the Men's and Women's Kopa, Yashin, and Johan Cruyff Trophies, as well as the Club of the Year awards.
The ceremony will be streamed for free on L'Equipe's YouTube channel.
The awards highlight a season of stellar individual performances, with European glory not being the sole determinant for the coveted trophy.
