The 2025 Ballon d'Or ceremony is scheduled for tonight, Monday, September 22, at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, starting at 8 pm BST.
The event will crown the best men's and women's players of the 2024-25 season.
The list of men's nominees includes standout performers such as Jude Bellingham of England and Real Madrid, Erling Haaland of Manchester City, Harry Kane of Bayern, and Kylian Mbappe of Real Madrid.
Other notable nominees are Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski, and Cole Palmer.
The Women's Ballon d'Or nominees include several Lionesses from England's Euro 2025 winning team, as well as Spain stars Alexia Putellas and Mariona Caldentey.
Other categories with announced nominees include the Men's Kopa Trophy for the best U21 player, featuring Lamine Yamal and Desire Doue, and the Men's and Women's Yashin Trophies for goalkeepers.
The Men's and Women's Johan Cruyff Trophies for coaches and the Club of the Year awards will also be presented.
