Christian Horner, who was ousted from Red Bull in July after overseeing 14 world championships, is reportedly seeking a new role in Formula 1 following a settlement that allows him to make a comeback next year.
Aston Martin chief Andy Cowell revealed that Horner has been 'ringing up pretty much every team owner at the moment' in his search for a new position.
However, Cowell immediately ruled out any 'operational or investment role' for Horner at Aston Martin.
Horner has also had exploratory talks with the Haas team, but their principal, Ayao Komatsu, confirmed that those discussions had not progressed and are 'finished'.
Horner’s last 18 months at Red Bull were overshadowed by allegations of inappropriate behaviour, which he consistently denied.
Meanwhile, Horner’s former star driver Max Verstappen trails championship leader Oscar Piastri by 69 points heading into the 18th round in Singapore.
