Ester Expósito's career as Mbappe's 'girlfriend' famed for Netflix drama
French footballer Kylian Mbappe, 27, has reportedly been dating Spanish actress Ester Expósito since earlier this year. The pair have been spotted together on multiple occasions throughout 2024, including an evening out together in April. While neither has officially confirmed their romance, they have subtly been showing support for each other on social media. When Expósito shared a series of photographs with her 24 million followers, Mbappe responded with a heart emoji which garnered over 17,000 likes.
Expósito shot to global fame in 2018 when she played scheming student Carla Roson Caleruega in the Netflix thriller Elite. She featured in the drama for two years and later reprised her role in the 2021 spin-off Elite Short Stories Carla Samuel. The 26-year-old has also appeared in other Netflix original series, portraying Cayetana Aldama in the three-part 2020 thriller Someone Has to Die. Fans may also recognise her as Lili from the 2024 action adventure heist Bandido on Apple TV.
Beyond her acting career, Expósito has established herself as a model, collaborating with top fashion brands including YSL Beauty and Dolce Gabbana. She is now a global ambassador for the Barcelona-based fashion brand Disgual.
Mbappe has remained particularly private about his love life over the years. It is believed he previously dated Belgian model Rose Bertram, who was spotted in Qatar during the 2022 World Cup.
