Paramore's lead singer, Hayley Williams, has put an end to rumors of the band's demise.
The speculation arose after the surprise release of her third solo album, but Williams clarified in an interview that the band is just on one of their usual 'huge breaks'.
She explained that these breaks are necessary for the band members to 'metabolise' what they go through as people, allowing them to create new music when the time is right.
The 36-year-old singer, who was first signed to a record label at 15 with the intention of being a pop artist, insisted on forming a rock group instead.
The Grammy-winning band is no stranger to internal changes, having seen drummer and guitarist Zac and Josh Farro step away in 2010 before Zac's return in 2017.
