What England stars Dan Burn, Elliot Anderson and Anthony Gordon have been up to after Mexico win

After England's victory over Mexico at the Azteca Stadium, the squad's Geordie contingent enjoyed some well-earned downtime. Dan Burn and Elliot Anderson were pictured having a ball at the pool in the squad's Kansas City hotel, making the most of their two-day break following the team's exploits in Mexico City.
Preparations for the quarter-final against Norway are now underway, but the squad was given time to let off some steam. England's boss Thomas Tuchel acknowledged the team would face a different challenge, noting that Norway possess world-class players including Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Burn discussed the prospect of facing Haaland. He said: "It does not surprise us at all how well they've done to be honest. I saw how well they did in qualification. They had a tough group to work with Italy in it and topped that and scored however many goals so it doesn't surprise us that they're doing well even beating Brazil." He added: "With Erling he only needs one touch in the box to score so everyone's going to have to be on it."
Burn emphasised that the manager had made clear their Mexico praise meant nothing without beating Norway. "We've sort of sat and took the praise and everything for it but it means nothing really if we don't beat Norway," he explained. "Now it's focusing on that."
Anthony Gordon also featured prominently after starring in the Mexico match, where he won the critical penalty for Harry Kane. The 25-year-old winger revealed that Rashford congratulated him on his Barcelona move. "He congratulated me as soon as he saw me," Gordon said. "To be honest he has been really helpful. I am trying to look for a house and he has helped me with things about the club which is helpful as I have not been there yet."
Gordon described Rashford as "a lovely person, very misunderstood" who is "just quite kid-like" and "always got a ball doing kick-ups and stuff."
