The Powerball jackpot has reached a staggering estimated $1.3 billion, after no winning ticket was sold in Monday's drawing.
This marks the 41st consecutive drawing without a jackpot winner, a remarkable streak that began after the last jackpot was claimed on May 31.
The winning numbers in the recent drawing were 8, 23, 25, 40, 53, and the red Powerball 5, with a Power Play multiplier of 3.
While the top prize remains unclaimed, there were numerous winners across the country.
Ten tickets matched the five white balls to win $1 million each, with these tickets sold in California, Florida, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, two in New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
Additionally, two tickets in Montana and North Carolina won a $2 million prize by adding the Power Play option.
The drawing also resulted in 124 tickets winning $50,000 and 25 tickets winning $150,000.
The next drawing is scheduled for Wednesday at 11 p.m.
ET.
A lucky winner would have the choice between a $1.3 billion annuity, which includes an initial payment and 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year, or a lump-sum option of $589 million, both before taxes.
Powerball tickets cost $2 and are sold at various retail locations.
Players select five white balls from a pool of 69 and one red Powerball from a pool of 26, or they can use the Quick Pick option for random numbers.
The overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 24.9, but the odds of winning the jackpot are a long shot at 1 in 292.2 million.
