Sandro Tonali has confirmed his departure from Newcastle United, with the Italian midfielder citing lifestyle, family and Roberto De Zerbi as key factors behind his sensational move to Tottenham Hotspur. The 26-year-old is set to become the most expensive Italian player in history as he prepares to link up with the influential Italian head coach in north London.

Tonali, the former AC Milan star, revealed that De Zerbi's presence at Tottenham was a decisive factor in his decision.
