Atletico Madrid send Arsenal firm Julian Alvarez transfer message after bombshell claim

Atletico Madrid have sent Arsenal a firm transfer message over Julian Alvarez, insisting the striker is not for sale despite his bombshell declaration to leave.
Alvarez shocked the Spanish side by revealing his desire to depart Wanda Metropolitano. The forward told reporters: "Honestly I don't know I don't think it's the right time to talk about this but I can't hide or pretend otherwise either. I try to be an honest person I spoke with the people at the club I needed to speak with The best thing for everyone is a transfer I want to fulfil my dream."
Atletico president Enrique Cerezo made the club's stance clear. Speaking to Spanish radio, Cerezo declared: "It caught us by surprise and we have done what we had to do We ve said that he is an Atletico de Madrid player and that we have no offers from anyone Even if there were offers we do not want to sell him."
With Alvarez contracted until 2030, Atletico hold a strong position. Arsenal, having faced the striker in the semi-finals, are among interested clubs. Barcelona are also keen following Lewandowski's departure but face similar resistance.
Alvarez has proven crucial to Atletico since arriving from Manchester City, accumulating 49 goals and 17 assists in 106 appearances. His quality has attracted attention from Europe's elite.
Manager Diego Simeone acknowledged the situation. "I m not in Julian's head he said several months ago I understand that it's normal that an extraordinary player like Julian Alvarez is wanted by Arsenal Barcelona It's normal because he's so good," Simeone stated.
Behind the scenes, Atletico are planning for potential departure, identifying Mason Greenwood as a possible replacement.
