Two Men Charged with Attempted Murder Following Slough Firearms Incident
Two young men have been charged with attempted murder following a shooting in Slough, Berkshire, in which a man in his 20s suffered a gunshot wound to his arm.
Thames Valley Police were alerted on 19 June after the victim presented at hospital with the injury, prompting officers to investigate the Pentland Road and Pennine Road area of Slough where the incident occurred.
Following their inquiry, officers arrested and charged Kian Rahelu, aged 20, and Lenny Morten, aged 19, with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life โ serious offences that carry substantial custodial sentences if convicted.
Both men have been remanded into custody and are scheduled to appear before Reading Crown Court, where the case will be heard.
Thames Valley Police confirmed their investigation into the full circumstances of the incident remains ongoing and appealed for anyone with additional information about the shooting to come forward and speak with detectives.
The force reiterated its commitment to bearing down on serious violent crime involving weapons in the region.
The victim, whose identity has not been publicly disclosed, is understood to be receiving medical care for his injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.
