Sheffield Park and Garden, located in Uckfield, East Sussex, is being hailed as an ideal spot for a day trip, especially during the autumn months.
The park, which features acres of Grade I listed landscaped gardens and lakes, erupts into 'vibrant red, yellow, and orange shades' this season.
Visitors on TripAdvisor have praised the stunning autumn display, with one describing it as 'fabulous as ever.' Another noted that while the park is beautiful year-round, the autumn colors are 'spectacular.' The park offers plenty of benches for rest and grass banks by the lakes for picnics, making it great for families and couples.
Most of the paths are flat and wheelchair accessible, with toilets available near the entrance.
A video shared by a user on social media showcased the park's beauty, with the caption 'The most beautiful park.' While entry is free for National Trust members, there is an entrance fee of £18 for adults for non-members, though children and group tickets are also available.
Parking is free for all visitors.
However, due to its popularity in autumn, visitors are warned that queues for the car park can be long and it is 'essential to book in advance.' One lucky visitor, who did not book in advance, was able to find a space and get in, suggesting it is still possible to visit without a prior reservation.
The park's postcode is TN22 3QX, and it is located very close to a station, which may be a better option during the busy season.
