Caroline Flack's brother Paul is found dead aged 55 - six years after Love Island star's tragic death

Paul Flack, the brother of Love Island presenter Caroline Flack, has been found dead aged 55 - six years after his sister's tragic suicide in February 2020.
Paul was discovered unresponsive at his Norwich home on June 21 and was pronounced dead at Norfolk and Norwich Hospital at 10.44pm. He died just three days after his 55th birthday, having been born on June 18, 1971.
Norfolk Police issued a statement confirming: "Officers were called by ambulance after concerns for the safety of a man in his 50s. He was taken by ambulance to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital but was sadly pronounced dead at 10.44pm. The death is being treated as unexplained at this time but police do not currently believe there are any suspicious circumstances."
A provisional post mortem determined his cause of death to be cardiac arrest due to hanging. Norfolk Coroner's Court opened an inquest this week, scheduled to be heard on October 23.
Paul, who worked as a graphic designer, is survived by his partner and their children. He is remembered as playing a cherished role within the Flack family. In a recent Disney Plus documentary featuring their mother Christine, she described Paul as "the fun aspect" among his siblings, noting he was "the only boy" among four children.
Caroline Flack's death in February 2020 prompted a national conversation about mental health, social media abuse, and the treatment of people in the public eye. The 40-year-old television presenter was one of Britain's most recognisable faces, having presented X Factor and I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, and winning Strictly Come Dancing in 2014.
Paul appeared in the 2021 documentary Caroline Flack: Her Life and Death, which examined his sister's final months. The family has now lost two members within six years.
