Harriet Cowan says 'Jeremy Clarkson missed a trick' after visiting Diddly Squat with dad

Harriet Cowan, one of the breakout stars from Clarkson's Farm, has claimed that Jeremy Clarkson missed a trick when she visited Diddly Squat Farm with her father. The pair were at the farm for Cereals 2026, a well-known agricultural event featuring numerous stalls, attractions and food stands for visitors.
One area at the event was named the Soil Hole, which examines the science of regenerative agriculture. In a video shared on her YouTube channel, Harriet joked that it ought to have been called Clarkson's Hole instead. When she asked her dad what they had found, he replied, "Jeremy's hole." Harriet added, "This should say Jeremy's hole. He really missed a trick there."
The 25-year-old joined Clarkson's Farm as a temporary stand-in for Kaleb Cooper and has since become well-recognised in her own right. However, the sudden spotlight has taken its toll. She admitted she was forced to make several changes to her life, including stepping down from her full-time nursing role. Despite leaving nursing, she hasn't dismissed returning, stating, "I've still got my PIN - I will keep that because I worked so hard to become a nurse."
Speaking to the Fed by Farmers podcast hosts Cammy Wilson and Iona, Harriet reflected on working alongside Jeremy. She said, "He's marmite isn't he. I love that guy. I think he just doesn't care which is great. He was like a father figure to me when I was there he was really lovely." She also commended how Jeremy's work on agriculture has improved inclusivity for women within the industry, explaining, "It's a lot better than it ever has been."
