Liverpool legend Emile Heskey splits from Scouse wife as new partner 'confirmed'

Former England striker Emile Heskey has split from his wife Chantelle and gone Instagram official with a new relationship. The ex-Liverpool star, aged 48, has been pictured alongside former Miss Blackpool Jade Slusarczyk.

Emile earned 62 England caps between 1999 and 2010, playing for Leicester City, Liverpool, Birmingham and Wigan Athletic. He was part of Liverpool's 2001 FA Cup-winning squad and scored against Denmark at the 2002 World Cup.

The couple married in 2014 at Rookery Hall in Cheshire surrounded by family and friends. David and Victoria Beckham announced their engagement at the same venue in 1998.

After more than two decades together, the marriage has ended and divorce proceedings are underway. Chantelle, aged 43, confirmed to the MEN she is divorcing Emile.

Emile and Jade appeared together at the Ricky Hatton tribute at Manchester's AO Arena in June, arriving hand-in-hand. More recently they shared pictures at a darts event with Jade tagging Emile in posts with love heart emojis.

A friend of Chantelle's told the MEN: "Their marriage has been over for a while but not many people know they have kept it very quiet. But now that Emile appears to have gone public with his new girlfriend it's been quite difficult for Chantelle as lots of people have been messaging her asking what's going on."

The source revealed the couple had grown apart due to work commitments.

Jade, aged 40, describes herself as a Sky Sports Walk-on Girl for snooker, pool and darts. The former Miss Blackpool previously dated snooker champion Jimmy White, aged 63, from 2018.

Emile first met Chantelle Tagoe when she was an 18-year-old waitress in Liverpool while he was a 23-year-old striker. She thought he was a builder. He proposed in 2006 and married in 2014.
