West Midlands Police have initiated a murder investigation following a tragic house fire in Highters Heath, Birmingham, that resulted in the death of a man in his 30s.
The emergency services were called to a property on Saxons Way shortly before 1:10 a.m.
The victim was found with serious injuries and, despite being rushed to the hospital, died a short time later.
