A rider has been airlifted to hospital following a serious incident at the Tandragee 100 motorcycle road race on Saturday. The air ambulance was deployed to the circuit after a competitor crashed during the Senior Support race. The crash led to the race being red-flagged, causing a lengthy delay of around two hours before racing recommenced on the 5.3-mile circuit in County Armagh. A second attempt was made to run the race later in the day, but that too was halted because of a red flag.

Despite the disruption caused by the incident, the meeting proved a dominant display for 36-time Isle of Man TT winner Michael Dunlop. The Ballymoney rider won four races at the meeting—the feature event, the Open race, the Supersport, and the Moto3 class. This four-timer takes his career total of wins at the Tandragee race to 17, making him the third most successful rider in the history of the event behind his late uncle Joey and Ryan Farquhar.

In the Open race, held in damp conditions, Republic of Ireland rider Mike Browne set the early pace on his Honda but was overhauled by Dunlop on his MD Racing BMW, who had 4.16 seconds to spare at the chequered flag. Manx rider Conor Cummins finished third, repeating the podium finish he achieved in his first appearance at the meeting for 18 years in 2025.

Browne again set the early pace in the Supersport race on his BPE by Russell Racing Yamaha, but as rain made the track more greasy, Dunlop assumed the lead and was awarded the victory after the race was red-flagged, with Michael Sweeney completing the podium.

In the feature event, Dunlop achieved his fourth success in that race, coming home 2.9 seconds ahead of Browne after setting the fastest lap of two minutes 52.666 seconds, with Skerries rider Sweeney third.

In the Supertwins race, Shaun Anderson took the win as rain dampened the track, finishing 3.5 seconds ahead of Kevin Lavery, with Sweeney third.
