Tess Daly spotted with wedding ring at Wimbledon two months after Vernon Kay split

Tess Daly was spotted wearing her wedding rings at the Wimbledon final on Sunday, two months after she and Vernon Kay announced their split.

The 57-year-old former host arrived at the All England Lawn Tennis Club in an elegant floor-length pastel-coloured dress ahead of the Wimbledon 2026 final. Despite the separation, she was pictured still wearing her wedding rings as she enjoyed the sunshine before heading to Centre Court.

Tess and Vernon, 52, announced the end of their 22-year marriage in May through a statement shared on Instagram Stories on Friday May 8. The pair, who met while working for rival channels in 2001 and married at St Mary's Catholic Church in Horwich in September 2003, said they had made the decision amicably.

In their statement, they wrote: "After much consideration and with a deep sense of care and respect for one another we have made the decision to separate amicably. This has not been an easy choice but it comes from a place of mutual understanding and a shared desire for what is best for both of us."

The couple added: "We remain great friends and most importantly fully committed to our roles as loving and supportive parents which will always be our priority."

Despite their split, the pair have remained notably close. Vernon was recently seen supporting Tess as she headed to Greece to shoot a campaign for her swimwear brand. The couple have also been spotted together at Pub In The Park with mutual friends, including actor Will Mellor, and continue to spend time with their two daughters, Phoebe and Amber, as a family.

At the Wimbledon final, Tess attended alongside their eldest daughter Phoebe. She shared pictures on Instagram on Monday July 13, captioning them: "Huge thanks to champagnelanson for hosting such an incredible day at the Wimbledon Men's Final. Champagne sunshine and world-class tennis - doesn't get much better than that."
