Celebrity Gogglebox star walks off after creepy horror clip 'I need a break'

A Celebrity Gogglebox episode that aired on Friday July 3 featured a dramatic moment when dancer Jordan Banjo walked off the sofa after watching a particularly disturbing horror film.

The celebrity armchair critics were watching a range of programmes when they tuned into the horror film Weapons. The film centres on 17 children from the same classroom who mysteriously disappear on the same night at the same time.

Jordan watched alongside fellow Diversity performer Perri Kiely. The mood turned decidedly uneasy as the group witnessed a particularly unsettling scene featuring a sinister character called Aunt Gladys, portrayed by Amy Madigan, who visited a house and requested a bowl rather than a glass of water.

The situation escalated when Aunt Gladys seized a wooden stick she had been toying with and dragged it across her hand, slicing it open, leaving Jordan visibly horrified. He grabbed a cushion to shield himself from the screen as a man in the film proceeded to open his mouth and unleash torrents of black liquid.

"I need a break I need a break," Jordan declared as Perri cried out "No".

The dancer then rose to his feet and retreated from the sofa, saying "I need a drink Do you want anything". However, he quickly returned to tell Perri that upon reaching the kitchen he had noticed a bowl of water on the side which had startled him. "No," he said, settling back down without having made the drinks.
