Love Island winners reveal what they're really going to spend £50K prize money on

Love Island 2026 champions Lorenzo Alessi and Julia Majchrzak have lifted the lid on their plans for their £50,000 prize following their victory on Monday night. The pair beat fellow finalists Kavan Murphy, 21, and Jasmine Muller, 27, who finished second, with Simba Kudyiwa, 24, and Angelista Gunda, 24, in third place.
During the live final, Julia initially revealed her priorities, confessing "I want him to move in with me." However, when asked about their spending plans in a post-final interview with ITV, the couple revealed more considered ideas.
Lorenzo disclosed his intention to purchase a sentimental keepsake from his experience. "I want to get myself a nice token from this experience maybe a watch or something to commemorate it," he said. He elaborated on his approach: "I've realised I'm quite a sentimental person. Last night I kept the cork from the champagne that they gave us after the show. Just little things to celebrate what a journey it has been."
Julia's spending priorities proved more glamorous. "Heels. I'm getting myself a nice pair of heels," she declared, with Lorenzo adding "And maybe a good holiday."
Reflecting on their unexpected victory, Lorenzo said "It's very surreal. I did not think this would happen eight weeks ago walking in there. What an honour very privileged very humbled." Julia added "We feel very grateful and it's crazy coming from Casa. I had no idea I would make it through Casa and then win."
In their post-victory message to supporters, Julia expressed her joy: "We love you so so much I appreciate every one of you Can't wait to see you." Alessi enthusiastically chipped in with "And to party," before reflecting on their journey: "I haven't stopped laughing. This whole thing is nuts. I didn't think that this would happen walking in all of those weeks ago but what a crazy way to end what's been an unforgettable summer."
Describing their time on the show, Julia called it a "Boobalicious experience. Crazy journey very heightened in terms of emotions. There's a movie the new Barbie. It felt like that - in a doll house you speak to the boys there is a bit of drama." Lorenzo shared his perspective: "It was a fever dream it's just nuts it's one of those things that I don't think anyone will understand."
