Tensions remain sky-high in the Love Island villa following the dramatic Casa Amor twist, which concluded with a chaotic recoupling on July 2. The separation of original boys and girls saw a parade of fresh bombshells arrive, and after three dramatic days, the Islanders faced a crucial decision to either recouple with a newcomer or return to their original partner. Two original girls found themselves single and visibly upset as the recoupling unfolded, though in an unexpected development they were not immediately booted from the Island.

While the broadcaster has not yet officially confirmed its return, Movie Night typically follows Casa Amor. The beloved twist sees the Islanders being shown footage and conversations from around the villa that they may not have witnessed. It typically always leads to explosive arguments and break ups as deceptions are revealed and the contestants get the opportunity to witness precisely how conversations unfolded and whether flirtatious or disrespectful conduct took place.

The scheduling for Series 13 has closely mirrored last year's Series 12, with Casa Amor commencing and concluding on the same episodes. Last year, Movie Night occurred on Episode 33, and as tonight marks Episode 32 of the series, fans might witness its comeback as soon as Sunday, July 5, if this year mirrors the identical scheduling which so far it seems to be doing.

Fans have been demanding Movie Night for numerous weeks, eager for producers to reveal behaviour. Former bombshell Jessy Potts revealed the experience of past Movie Nights. "The first time we had Movie Night it was pure chaos. That was wild," she said. "It was just drama drama drama because it was the first time anyone had ever seen any of it back. So there were a lot of arguments and a lot of drama." She continued, "The second time there were still a lot of arguments but it wasn't as serious as it was portrayed. There was a lot of laughing joking and taking the p out of each other at the same time."

Potts confirmed that producers do intervene occasionally, stating "Yeah a few times they want the drama they just don't want it to be taken too far."
