Concerns grow for Greenock man as police issue fresh appeal with CCTV image

Concerns are continuing to grow for a 68-year-old man who has been missing from Greenock. Police Scotland have issued a fresh appeal for information about Andrew, who was reported missing on Thursday, 25 June after he was last seen near the Lady Octavia Sports Centre around 9:45am.
Officers have now released a CCTV image of Andrew taken on the morning he disappeared, which shows the clothing he was wearing at the time. He is described as a white male, approximately 5ft 8 inches tall, of medium build with short grey hair. He was last seen wearing a blue North Face t-shirt and dark coloured trousers.
Inspector Mitch Oxnard of Police Scotland expressed deep concern for Andrew's wellbeing. "We are concerned about Andrew's wellbeing and extensive enquiries are ongoing to trace him," the inspector said. "We are appealing to anyone who thinks they may have seen him or who has any information regarding his whereabouts to come forward."
The release of the CCTV image represents a significant development in the ongoing search for Andrew. The photograph provides members of the public with clear visual information about what he was wearing when he went missing, which could prove crucial in identifying him and determining his current whereabouts.
Police Scotland continue to carry out extensive enquiries to locate Andrew. Anyone who may have seen him since 25 June, or who has any information that could help in locating him, is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2844 of Thursday, 25 June 2026.
