Coventry sign Ghana star Caleb Yirenkyi
Coventry City have shattered their transfer record for the third time this summer with the signing of Ghana international Caleb Yirenkyi from Danish Superliga side Nordsjaelland. The 20-year-old midfielder has committed to a long-term contract with the Sky Blues, becoming Frank Lampard's fifth arrival as the club prepares for its return to the Premier League following promotion from the Championship. The deal is worth 27m euros (23.1m) plus 3m euros (2.5m) in add-ons.

Yirenkyi made his international debut for Ghana in May 2025 and has since earned 15 senior caps for his country.
